Vanilla Sugar Cookies
These cookies are a little sweet but gorgeous. You have to have a lot of patience to do decorated sugar cookies.
Let’s Go…recipe below.
1.)Cream together the butter, vanilla and confectioners’s sugar.
2.)Add the eggs one at a time scraping in between each addition.
3.)Add the flour and mix until combined. Do not over mix or you will get tuff cookies.
4.)Flatten out the dough and put in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or even better overnight to rest.
5.)Preheat oven to 375F. Roll out the dough with some flour to 1/4 to 1/2″ thick. Cut with desired cookie cutter and place onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-14 minutes depending on size of cookie cutter. For cookie cutters check out Old River Cookie Cutters
